i love festive seasons. everyone get excuses to doll up, to eat yummy. and for cny, we get to collect red packets. though there will definitely be boring moments, awkward moments too. there was unexpected guest on the first day at my friend’s. dont like to be questioned, plus i dont really know you even though we have met, i dont even recognise you, get it! congrats to the newly married and now pregnant girl. dragon baby on the way! i think i ate so much a baby is growing in me as well. sore throat seems developing too. shoo shoo. thought cny is not over, i cant wait for next year. idk why.

i shouldn't consider myself very busy, cause I have been lazy. but everyday I have a task to complete and I do complete them somehow. class on Friday, rest after that. tuition in the weekends, worked not Monday. assignment on Tuesday. and I help with pan's assignments for 2 weeks already. why do we also have similar due dates! there's an assignment to be submitted by this week. getting sick of reports.

I am actually really tired but I am not asleep, idk why. and next week's timetable is the worst ever. really feel like quitting my job though I am given lots of flexibility. I practically went to work for only 4 hours for the entire week. but I lazy, really am. nothing to motivates me there.

can i just spam photos? hahaha. its friday, which is the last 2nd friday, last trip that the school is bringing us. it was supposed to be everland, if you realise, it has been raining all these days, so it was changed to lotte world which has an indoor theme park. (rain free)

first ride

the queue for the hot air balloon ride is like a maze

views from the hot air balloon, almost every rides can been seen within one ride. best way to check out the indoor theme. (bird’s eye view)

on the teacup ride, its called drunken basket here. we went the Viking ride too, quite good, or is it cause i haven't been on one for a long time, HAHAHA!

like the background, not the face. this parade car is smelly, comes out every now and then. it kind of gives off a brazil festive feel.

express tix to the boat ride, should have gotten this for the roller coaster instead. basically, this is how it works. the popular rides here like French Revolution (indoor theme park’s roller coaster) and Flume Ride (boat ride), Comet Express (outdoor theme park’s roller coaster but an indoor ride) have really long queue. you might need to queue up to 50 mins or more! waste of time right? so this card works like a “legal cut queue pass”. you get this pass before you join the queue, there will be a time a located for you to come back, to skip the long long queues. BUT, you can only attain one express ticket at a time. so plan wisely!

damn bored while queuing for the roller coast almost fell asleep countless times! seriously, plan the express ticket carefully!

giant loop next, long queue too. not as scary as we thought, even for the French Revolution. if your hair has sand, and you want to shake it off, take this ride!

have a snack, pita roll.

looking for one of the queue for the ride, saw this little girl, i gave her my waffle that was given by the school

all the kiddy rides, lots of them, even bumper cars have kiddy version. oh and the zero gravity ride, there is a kiddy version too.

shooting game, which i suck at! the horse will rock and you have to shoot the villains! too bad the video is entirely in korean, can’t understand a tiny bit. but i know they do point who is the best and worst in the room. and please note, even though you are in a dark room, please behave! cause your picture will be taken, i think at the beginning? i am not sure, cause they will put your pic on the screen to show your ranking and best and worst! HAHAH!

back to our boat ride, since our express pass is ready to use. anyway, this theme park is like a lovey dovey place, you can spot lots of couples, in couple wear, head to toe! spot the couple i snap, we took this ride with one pair too.

woke up early that day, real early. cause i cant get back to sleep if i am not wrong. we planned to head back to the faceshop place again.

the yakult there is smaller than sg’s. it somehow made my hand look big too.

good things wont last, just like the good weather here. check out the foggy sky. you can hardly see the mountain further away.

took train to mapo-gu office station where the shop is.

electronic device plays a huge part of their life here on the train. there was this girl from skku, she travels about 1.5 hour to school. idk about the majority but base on this, i totally see the point of having the “tv programmes on your mobile device” technology.

one of my fav food. its spicier this time round, just as good. the only set back this time, we have limited time. we need to head back to school by 330. obviously we went in late. we are consistent.

no idea what happen before, but they were strumming their guitar when we got in. and it goes on and on.

then the usual grad procedure.

skip the after party, and went for last min shopping. cause we are leaving the very next day. and we met with bad bad bad, i really mean bad service!

look at this lady, remember her if you can. she’s weird. her oh pa apparently agreed to sell this pants to b at certain price and the transaction was done. so we went to other shops. and this very lady was not please, and went after us few mins later. al most 5 – 10 mins later. cause we were at the other end of the building. she came up to b and ask for the pants back. b just gave in and gave her the extra money she demanded. its ridiculous, really! for instance, if i purchase something from her, and 10 mins later i recreated, and decide to refund it, will she allow me? or maybe lets compare apple to apple. if i purchase something t 10000won from her, but 10mins later, i thought it only worth 9000won, can i ask her for my 1000won back? i feel very unjust, so i went back to the store and look a picture of her. i thought i must teach her a lesson. let her fear a little, i mean its unfair to customers right? she cant be catching after very customer for very won she demand for.

something happier to end the day, our fav bbq store! but that night’s meat was a little fat. still nice(: we were their last customers to leave the place that day.

how i wish we can go back there for dinner tml. so sad. no more biscuit eater when i get up. anyhow, i will go back there somehow sometime. more out-dated post soon.

so i manage to find the face shop outlet that b was trying to source. so we must go! took the subway.

had this on tue night, it tastes very much like hk spaghettis.

this week has been pretty nice weather, if you consider scotching sun good. look at the clear blue sky. spot the mountain that was always in the fog for the past few week.

on our way to school, for preesentation. we tried to be early that day. notice i said tried.

we head to dongdaemun after class.

lunch at our fav “3 grannies” place. ya, we ordered the fish again.

doota! carries stuff somewhat like the other malls in the area but at a higher price.

so we walked toward the regular malls, and spotted this commotion.

this uncle was selling puppies!

damn cute, told b to get it but she didnt. it was cheap. i think its about 120 sgd, but the uncle type 10000won to the lady below.

this baby didnt have her hair dyed, she a mix!

there;s always some smell somewhere, and this time, it was this family eating fried chicken at one of the shops.

head back to dorm after shopping. and we were more aware this time, which cab to board. but we got the same reaction again, the driver will point to this direction and blabber something, which i dont understand, but i am guess, it means its just there. but this time, after our first attempt to get a cab, this uncle who looked like a usher, somewhat like private traffic control, came to us and ask where we were heading, and as usual, ask where we were from. (the people here loves to know, even if they can communicate with us) initially, we thought this uncle was some people to assist foreigners in getting a cab. and we stayed along the side of the road, we very soon, 3 or more others came and started taking pictures of the cab that just rejected us. first thing that came to my mind was that they must be some “taxi driver police”. cause cab drivers here tend to pick passengers. these people must be here to prevent it. they manage to get us a cab after that, but i think the driver was overwhelm and took us even though he dk the way. sort of brought us to the wrong place but we figured out and manage to guide him back, and i insist not paying not more than 5000won cause it was suppose to be just 3000+. so we left the cab with just 5000won.

today’s weather is damn damn warm! we went in class during first break, and so unlucky that our group was suppose to present for the 2nd team, only 2 of the members are present. after class head to dongdaemun for yummy lunch.

i woke up kind of late, cause i have no motivation to get up early and be excited, cause we are leaving soon. plus i am really tired. everyday tried so hard to get up early, so taxing on the body. sunday’s plan was to head to namsan park.

the subway here, has routers in it, free wifi for the subscribers, but not to the foreigners, unless you have a local line i think. lunch. DAMN FULL!

went back to dongdaemun but we exit at a different exit cause we saw “stationery and toys market”. but before anything, we need to fill our tummy.

we went to a little shop that is run by 3 aunties. all of us dont understand each other, but we manage to order yummy food.

apparently, this place is well patronised by lots of uncles. we order fish. cooked ones this time. very yums! home cook feel.

pork or beef kimchi soup, i ant remember.

we cant find the stationery and toy market, but there was this alley that i thought look like “ wanchai market” in hk, so we went in the alley and apparently, it is the stationery market we were looking for. got all excited with all the cute stationery.

head back to the dongdaemun area, for shopping, of course.

we shop till we were broke (almost)! went to the food court that we saw the first time, to try. not as fantastic, passable.

migliore and hello apm in the night. we almost got cheated by stupid cab drivers who quoted us 20 000won to get back to our dorm which is only one station away. we only spent 3000+won the first time. he told us there was midnight charge. but we didnt believe and we dont have that much money, HAHAHA! so we went to the infomation counter, which is totally useless, hello apm’s information counter is always empty, which explain why i cantind my phone, migilore’s doesnt seem like she wants to help, she only knows “idk”, “i am not sure”. lucky we manage to find ourself the “cheap” way home, and not get cheated. look out for silver or white cabs, i think these are the cheaper cab, silver’s meter starts at 2400 won and white starts at 2880 won if i am not wrong.

tired day, we blame it very much on the always gloomy weather. monday night we tried this cute looking tibits.

totally look like a miniature drumstick, doemo cute yo! but its empty inside. just air.

after morning class, we went to some where, ssamzie gil, near insadong. its this artsy fatsy place with many unique stuff.

for eg, edible shit, HAHAHA!

lunch

rice cake, this looks like somewhat fluffy, what it is totally sticky! i had the green heart one, which has red bean fillings, and the right one is b’s, pumpkin flavour.

left: on the menu it is call, “ beef and mushroom soup”, very much not we expected it to be, but its nice, a little bland though. i went to ask for some salt, and found korean salt taste different.

right: its an ice cold cinnamon tea.

we were damn full after rice cake and “soup”. so we decided to take this back and have it later or so.

b went ahead and challenge herself with a dessert, that was recommended. btw, most people goes here for their dessert. quite yums! but i am really too full to enjoy it.

got to class late, after this and we were so tired (sick of the weather) and we went back to dorm after school, even though it wasnt raining anymore.

we went to some where really near for dinner, and found this seafood place, with no english menu or anyone that can speak english. but we mange to order, the lady called someone who can speak english and we ordered through the phone call.

first, we were served this little porridge. then this salad, with some sashimi.

follow by a big pot of seaweed soup, with some clams. we were also served with this place of raw seafood, on the right.

steam egg, one of the fav dish here. here goes the main dish, the dish that we ordered. “raw fish” real thick slices.

i was really full even before half the fish is gone, and b was anticipating for scallops to be served, but the aunty surpriced us with a bottle of drinks which b thought was alcohol! hahahahaha! its only a bottle of soda. and when we thought everything is served,

tempura was next. there is prawns and sweet potato slices, we ate the sweet potato even though we were so full. its yums manzzzzz.

after food fest, we left feeling damn thirsty, went to hunt for vending machine because the drink served were only left with the korean “milky” alcohol, this other drink that taste totally like mama lemon( the detergent), and this other brown drink thats not very nice either. we found a post office in the school by chance. parted with the girls, b and i planned to head to coex.

took the train and wasted a lot of money for missing our stops!

woke up relatively early considering that i went to bed around 6am. i woke up at 12plus, 1, by the way. i went up to look for the student leaders to help me with my mia phone. but no one was around, so i went down to the lobby to call their cell. the leader called the security guard to lead me to the police station, and help me with all the communication problem. he brought me opposite our dorm, but i went there the night before but they cant help me and i think it is just a traffic police station. the guard told the traffic police to bring me to the nearest police station but apparently the police car’s back seat was filled with idk what. so he just told me how to walk there. and yes, i walked there alone, with much of my own instinct.

got there and reported, the policewoman was quite nice. anyway, the street here was like dead town, every stores were closed. i wanted to pack food back but there was nothing.

got back to the dorm and slack the day away.

dinner: yes, same as the other day but this outlet is near our dorm.

refilled our supply of stuff we need for our mouths, i have some more on my desk too. HAHA!

so, its Saturday, finally! we didnt try to get up early at all! we only head out in the evening, the first mall we got to, was already close when we enter.

yes, i didnt post anything on friday. i was lazy. so here it goes. fridays are field trip days, but it sucks this week. went to school late, on purpose. because know they take quite some time to load people and stuff. HAHA!

rainy movie day

we had plans to go visit places near our area between the morning class and kor class. but the rain has us changed our plan. we ended up with wet shoes and a ticket to transformer movies. the movie was good, but i was too tired and i think after 10 mins i fell asleep, unwillingly.

dinner with some dorm mates. they brought us to this place to have seafood, and try the raw octopus. omg, its so gross to hold it. but its really not as back when you eat it. really.

anyway, remember last night’s dinner, yummy beef with rice (like sushi), i just noticed that there is one outlet near our area. seriously, our area has almost anything you want from all the famous and nice stuff.

was munching on this chips, it totally taste like DONUT! crunchy donut.
